The town of Poprad is the district town whose geographical situation
near the High Tatras offers the opportunity to profit of that all year long.
When visiting the town in wintertime, there are many facilities to ski in the near by
ski-resorts directly in the High Tatras or in the town´s neighbourhood.
Centrally located in Spiš region, famous for its cultural-historical places
with many historical sights, it offers also possibilities to visit some listed
remebrance´s reservations, e.g. in Levoča or Kežmarok.
In summer it is the beautiful countryside which gives you a lot of attractions
like hiking along the marked paths in the High Tatras, in Slovak Paradise
or in Červený Kláštor (Red Monastery), rafting and cycling.
For those who like playing golf there is one more attraction to play
it in the new golf court with 18 holes in Veľká Lomnica (10km from Poprad).

The hotel Európa is situated in a very close neighbourhood
of the main railway station. Really profitably located near the town´s centre,
sport´s areas and the Aquacity (10 minutes of walking).
